Online RSA Certificate Courses for the ACT
Yes! You can complete your RSA certificate for the ACT online. The means you can be prepared when entering the ACT on your working holiday you will be “Job Ready” before you enter the state and start applying for positions. These online courses are will typically mean you are accredited to work with alcohol in Western Australia, Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia and Tasmania. Double check with your course provider that your accreditation is valid in all those states or the states in you intend on visiting.
How much is an RSA Certificate
Some providers are charging as much as $55 for their Nationally accredited online course. ( These higher prices are typically for the courses that are valid in Tasmania). Payment can be made by online, phone, in person or direct debit.
How my is RSA Certificate Delivered
As the ACT RSA certificate can be complete online providers can simply mail out the certificate via local or international post. Some providers will have an express option.
Extra Requirements
The ACT government have further prerequisites prior to undertaking employment. You are required to provide an Evidence guide including a copy of your ID. Upon processing of the evidence guide and once you have completed the online training and assessment you will be issued with your RSA certificate.
Refresher RSA Courses
The situation will be very unlikely for working holiday makers but in the case you obtain permanent residency in Australia these courses can be undertaken to keep your rsa certificate active. The Office of Regulatory Services (ORS), enquires that all persons employed in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) must complete refresher training or redo a full RSA course every three years.
